River Publishing began 6 years ago, but is the culmination of 18 years' experience in international Christian publishing. Its founder, Tim Pettingale, had run the publishing programmes of two different UK publishing houses, and built strong relationships throughout the industry as a freelance commissioning editor, ghostwriter and publisher.
But there comes a time when it's right to step out and do your own thing. For this, credit must also be given to his good friend, Jonathan Bugden, who provided the inspiration, encouragement and support to get River up and running. For nearly 20 years our passion has been to see balanced Christian teaching (embracing both Word and Spirit) and inspiring life-transformation stories reach readers around the world.
