Mendip Plains Equestrian Centre is run by the Green family, who have been farming on the Waldegrave Estate in Chewton Mendip and Ston Easton for over 80 years. We owe the Waldegraves a huge vote of thanks for allowing us the opportunity to diversify into the equestrian sector. Our aim is to provide a friendly face and a facility for all ages and abilities.
Whether horse-riding is just a hobby to you, or you are out to produce the next Badminton winner, we hope we can help in some kind of way. The course is open for schooling. Bookings for the course are be made in 2 hourly slots between the hours of 8am and 8pm 7 days a week.

Here at Mendip Plains we are delighted to have Tom Grant as our sponsored rider, he will be coming to use the facilities with his lovely string of horses along with teaching regular clinics open to all ages and abilities.
We are also excited to see his new monthly blog with lots of training tips and videos, this is a great insight into how professional horses are produced right the way though all of the levels, and a chance to use some of the ideas yourself!Tom Grant is a 23 year old international event rider, based in Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

We are very grateful for the wonderful support we receive from both local and national companies. Along with our volunteers, local riders and clubs, friends and family, you are an integral part of the team and we are always grateful for your time and support. It can't be an accident that the vast majority of top riders have a team around them supporting their career.

Good surface to arena, good parking cross country good. Possibly the worst coffee I have ever had. It is always a good idea in this business to remember that the person using the facilities is often not the bill payer and they need to be looked after as well and the riders. No though put into the spectator experience but they do foster a friendly supportive atmosphere for competitors

Visited a Saracens riding club dressage run here by their club. The facilities are very good and have been well run on previous visits
Toilets are very poor and do need urgent attention
refreshments available and well run.
Saracens could also do with a simple upgrade to IT for results as it takes a long time to produce results
