The most popular type being one that can be fitted into an existing fireplace, or replacing a traditional open fire. The next option is a hole in the wall type, which is more of a statement feature and and can house a larger stove. These often require a false chimney breast to be built to house the new stove and a larger opening made.
We can open up your existing chimney/fireplace and make a lovely inglenook stove installation. We can also extend your current fireplace setting with a false chimney breast to make the opening larger. Use a chamber of your choice or leave the area plain and simple. The addition of a wooden beam always finishes off the look, hearth choices will depend on the stove chosen and the manufacturer's guidelines.
By using a twin wall insulated flue, a stove can be installed practically anywhere and no existing chimney is needed. You also have many options available for your hearth material - you can use glass, slate or sandstone for a different look. We'll help you get the right stove with our free survey and quotation providing you with advice on what best suits your home.

Great service from start to finish. Colin is professional and honest. Gave us several quotes for style and budget. Advised us where the stove was more beneficial, which in turn saved us money from our original plan. Job was done in half a day which included joist work. Very clean and tidy job. looks fantastic and heats the whole upstairs. Their aftercare and advice has been excellent. 100% recommend.

I was replacing my old stove with a new one but wasn’t sure what to buy. Stove Doctor spoke me through the best size of stove for the size of my kitchen. Once it arrived my old stove was taken out and new one fitted without any problems. The guys were super efficient and friendly and cleaned up once they had finished. They even moved my old stove for me. I will be using Stove Doctor again to replace my living room stove. Great company great service
