Services
We are specialist family solicitors in Brighton and Hove but our clients come from a wide range of areas, backgrounds and lifestyles. We offer a discrete sensitive and cost-effective service for people going through difficult times. We also represent ex-pats who are now living abroad. We will tailor our approach to meet your needs to achieve your goals and objectives.
Brighton & Hove Law specialise in divorce matters and we advise both husbands and wives in formal divorce proceedings offering a cost effective alternative to large law firms. We will deal with your matter sensitively and provide you with support and guidance throughout the process. If you receive correspondence from your spouses solicitor or receive divorce papers, do not ignore them.
We are very aware that your main concern, if you are experiencing problems within your relationship, is often your children. Assisting parents whose relationships have ended in finding practical workable solutions in disputes over their children is vital. When you divorce or separate, you still remain parents, it is important that you make a positive difference, helping your children to adjust to a new situation.
Collaborative law provides an opportunity for you both to work through the things you need to sort out following your separation to enable your family to move on with life in a positive way. It is a way to find solutions together to relieve the distress and disruption which can affect everyone in a family, including any children, during and after separation.
We work closely with other organisations such as RISE and can refer you to agencies that can provide you with practical and emotional support. Non - molestation orders prevent someone from using violence against you, harassing or intimidating you. It may also be necessary to obtain an occupation order to remove a perpetrator from your home.
