I just got a new engine fitted in my son's MX-5 by Nippon Auto Spares. It was an engine imported from Japan, a direct replacement 2.0L for the 2.0L engine in his which had died. I took the car in on a Thursday and it was ready to collect on Tuesday morning. It's also had new spark plugs and a lambda sensor, and now driving beautifully, better than it ever has. Everyone who dealt with me was very helpful, friendly and very accommodating. I'm delighted with the engine and the service and wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend Nippon Auto Spares to anyone. One of the best garage experiences!
I cannot recommend this company highly enough. My husband and I are perfectionists but our car is an elderly Subaru that needed a new gearbox and engine work. Matt and his team did not rest until it was all running superbly. Nothing was too much trouble and we were always made to feel welcome and not a burden! He had it back until he was happy (not just until we were!)
With the service we received, I cannot imagine any reasonable person ever having need to leave anything but excellent feedback. Thanks again Matt

A great experience because Matt and his team found me a rare transmission replacement and did not rest until it was all sorted. Nothing too much trouble and very pleased that I found a garage that had such a caring professional attitude. I’ve been meaning to write a review for Nippon for months now! I ordered from this company two times this year and they shipped it all the way to California. I have a Lexus IS and I needed many parts for the car after a collision. They got me a great price and the delivery was insane! They got it here in two days! That’s what a call an amazing company who cares about their customers! Also, they were very easy to communicate with! So awesome!! Wow!! I am totally shocked at how they were able to help me right away. I also needed different parts last week as my repair man wanted to charge me 2x

Long story. Our Subaru Forrester blew its engine and turbo in January 2020. We were at a loss as it is our general purpose farm vehicle with tow bar and dog box that fits perfectly. We did buy another car but it was so bad we returned it within 3 weeks of purchase. Eventually we found Nippon who had the right engine from a newer Subaru model. Our… car was collected exactly when they said it would be and then LOCK DOWN . We spoke regularly with Matt, lockdown guidance meant the work would wait, so we did .
