Seamark Nunn
1961 - Seamark Nunn was first established in 1961 by the husband & wife team of Mike & Rosemary Nunn, making us one of the longest established family-run boating businesses in the UK. The company emerged as a boat building and chandlery business to support the growing boating community on the Suffolk & Essex Coast.

From its inception, the company built up a solid reputation for building fast racing dinghies in wood and later GRP, and during the 1960s and 1970s was a favourite builder for the OK Dinghy, National Solo and International Optimist, of which many of the latter were exported into Europe. 1980 – We began our involvement with the sales and servicing of outboard engines, initially becoming dealers for Seagull and Evinrude outboards.
Services
All Export Sales are made Delivered Duty Unpaid DDU (now called DAP - Delivered At Place or DPU - Delivered At Place Unloaded, with a place of delivery specified), so you must pay the customs clearance fee as well as well as all other import costs and VAT locally before delivery/collection. Our web site is constantly updated but demand is high and we occasionally run out of stock on popular items.
Shipping Costs will be calculated automatically by our website on the total weight of the order. However due to the physical size and weight of some products, the price for shipping will be quoted for once your order has been received. For all orders, our website will provide a price for shipping, however there may be additional costs which we will inform you of BEFORE we process your order.
We offer an extensive range of anchors for any type of boat, from leading brands including the amazing Rocna, Manson, Fortress, Lewmar, DC and several other types. You can also find anchor chain, mooring ropes, bow rollers, chain markers and other mooring products in this section. Can't find what you're looking for?
Whether you are getting your boat ready for the new season, or simply taking care of your pride and joy, we have everything you need right here. Paints and Antifoul by Flag paints, Hempel, International, SeaJet and Coelan. We also offer West System Epoxy and a wide range of Boat Cleaning and Polishing Products.
We have a comprehensive range of pilot books, "how to" instruction and technical books covering all aspects of boat maintenance and more. In this section you'll find Marine Charts by Imray, NV and Admiralty Charts covering all of the UK and further afield. You'll also see a range of navigational instruments including parallel rules, dividers and sextants.

Excellent service from Martin (in the Outboard Motor Dept).
I have purchased both Outboard Motors and misc products (and also part exchanged O B motors) at Seamark Nunn for over 20 years.
Always with excellent service.

Popped into the shop for 2 buoyancy aids today and asked for a small discount as I was buying 2 and was told quite rudely by the manager that the price was the price and I could either pay it or leave. Needless to say I left and will never return. I have never had such bad customer service

Just returned from this store having purchased some paint, the young woman who served me way very helpful and pleasant, her boss however thinks its acceptable to talk down to customers and was quite rude to me,I would imagine he lives in a houseboat on his alimentary canal,he is that far up his own posterior.

There is a banner out front saying now open. This page says it’s open but it’s only click and collect. The man in there was extremely rude and arrogant. Some businesses have worked very hard to serve their customers, sadly this isn’t one of them.

I needed something to seal around a window on my campervan, a friend with a yacht, recommended Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure Leak Sealer and said I could get it at Seamark Nunn Ltd.
I went online, orderd it and paid, I had a meassge the next morning to say that it was ready to collect. safety measures were in place, and I showed my receipt on my phone, and a very pleasant young lady brought it to me at the door. Brilliant.

Happy to give 5 stars. They went out of their way to help me out with something a little bit different. Just cant understand the comments about attitude to customers and would happily recommend them and use them again.

I've emailed for information regarding products and have had a very prompt response, and have used them for many orders which have been completed successfully. Very occasionally an item is out of stock, but they've proved very fast and competitive. There are one or two other independent retailers which are good, but generally the boat industry otherwise seems to contain a whole lot of "rip-off merchants", so well done Seamark Nunn

I am currently trying to get a replacement for a failed radar reflector. I put the radar reflector up the evening before I left from San Juan PR for Annapolis via Cuba. In the morning the reflector was lying on deck the attachment having failed. I needed a reflector and 'bodged' a method of raising it, which worked for the trip back. Although… initially Seamark Nunn appeared to be helpful they now seem to be dragging their feet bigtime in replacing the reflector claiming that it needs to be 'examined' by the manufacturer before replacement. This is not what they are obliged to do under Consumer
