Scott a recruitment advisor from this company rang me with a job which he stated would be ongoing gave me a start date and then told me the start date had been delayed when it came to the actual start date I had paid to have my car fixed as was in disrepair with money I didn’t have spare just so I could attend the job filled my car up with fuel to get me to and from the job for the next week I then travelled a 40minute journey arrived at the site went through an hour of induction session only to be told I was there for the day only when questioning Scott about the situation his response was well

11hours shortfall, in wages, agency didnt want to know about shortfall, so ended up going to site myself to get shortfall rectified, got partial hours added, surely the agencies , agent should chase this issue up, but as usual, you hit a wall of silence.

Be careful if your thinking of working for Minstrell as My Experience of working Through them Recently is This
An hourly Amount was agreed in advance of me doing the work which I had proof of they paid me Less I brought it to their attention more than once they said they would increase the rate they never did
I was told I could claim Travel Expenses if I provided receipts which I did they never once paid Expenses
They don't forward messages or return messages even if it's important information
you'll only get a call if it's in their interest
And To Top off an otherwise Garbage service

Never usually write reviews but have been working with this company for about 6 years on and off and genuinely cannot fault them, been working in Spain quite a bit last year and when I came back I was on site in under a week. Janette from the training department came down and renewed all of my tickets and she was extremely helpful and efficient. Highly recommend both the training and recruitment sides... did have an issue with payment a few years ago but that's not Minstrell, I made a complaint and changed the payroll company I was using and in about an hour payment was made.

Always had really good experiences with this company! I have been placed on site in and around Manchester for over 10 years and I know that I can depend on them to get the best rates for me.
