Key Asbestos Services is a specialist Asbestos Surveying and Asbestos Removal Consultancy. Our team can address any asbestos related issues from Asbestos Surveying to Asbestos Removal. Our team combines experience spanning many years working in all aspects of asbestos surveying and removal. Key Asbestos Services offer an honest appraisal and clarity as to the remedial action required where asbestos is present.
There are two types of asbestos survey that can be carried out. These are the Asbestos Refurbishment and Demolition Survey and the Asbestos Management Survey. If you plan to carry out major works or demolition of part or all of a building then an asbestos refurbishment and demolition survey is the correct survey type.
Asbestos Management Surveys are carried out in line with HSG 264 and identify as far as is practical the location, extent and condition of suspected asbestos containing materials. The survey will determine whether suspected materials do actually contain asbestos. It assesses the likelihood of fibre release, and provides recommendations as to the remedial action to be undertaken.
If you plan to carry out refurbishment works to a property or demolition then this is the survey you require before works start! The Asbestos Refurbishment and Demolition survey is a statutory requirement. It is a fully intrusive survey that identifies asbestos containing materials, their extent and condition.
Suspected asbestos containing materials are often highlighted by home buyer surveys and building surveys as you approach exchange to buy a new house or flat. Commonly Artex ceilings, asbestos cement garage roofs, water tanks and flues along with asbestos floor tiles and asbestos board to boiler cupboards are flagged up.

As a main contractor I've dealt with Sandy for a number of years now on large New Build contracts that require in depth surveys pre-demolition works but also on small scale jobs and also on the odd look-see that quickly come out and take a sample of a suspected Asbestos containing material.
