Queensberry Event Hire is a marquee hire and events company that specialises in marquee hire, furniture hire and lighting hire for weddings, garden parties and high-end corporate events throughout Scotland, The Lake District and Northern England. While also running a permanent wedding venue of our own at Dalswinton Estate near Dumfries.
Queensberry Events can provide marquees for short and long term hire for a wide range of events, we also run our own venue and offer full event management for weddings at a location of your choice. Our exclusive wedding venue in Dumfriesshire - we manage and supply the whole event from marquees, catering and bar.
Every summer we have vacancies for seasonal marquee labourers and bar/event staff - mainly working setting up wedding marquees around Scotland and Northern England and at our own venue at Dalswinton Estate. Responsibilities: To work as part of an experienced team erecting and dismantling marquee structures on site; to load and unload marquees and equipment at our yard/on site and to clean our equipment.

Structurally (don't yawn) we have chosen an extremely strong frame marquee with 3m wide bays (distance between uprights of frame) and 2.4m leg height (height of sidewalls) this is far larger than standard marquees so it will give you a fuller and less interrupted view of your chosen spot.Additionally, these frame marquees allow us the fit clear roof sections - which looks amazing!
