Grosvenor always ensure our buildings are built to be 'in keeping' with the adjacent style and set in pleasing surroundings. Grosvenor are experts in maximising the potential of your garden, harnessing what exists and enhancing where appropriate. Dormansland, East Sussex Having refurbished their house, this customer wanted to bring the use of the garden more in line with their lifestyle.
Grosvenor began life as an amalgamation between two landscaping companies, the directors and the teams of which brought complimentary skills to the mix. The net result of this mix of skills, combined with our years of experience means that we have not been asked for a Landscaping task yet that we were not able to fulfil.
We have the machines, equipment and technical knowhow to tackle virtually every landscaping issue. We would consider ourselves specialists in dealing with sloping terrain, having built retaining walls in various media and having graded thousands of tonnes of soil to produce terraces, sloping paths, banks, sunken features and ha ha's.
Over time, we have created vast areas of patios, driveways, pathways and floors of buildings, again in a variety of materials; from conventional concrete slabs and tarmac, through to Indian sandstone, brick, block, stone, pavias, cobbles, gravels and tile, each with their own character.
As part of our range of services, we can provide a brick matching service and also have access to suppliers of some very unusual stone and concrete products (please see images).Currently the idea of extending the season of use for the garden with outdoor entertainment areas, such as hot tubs or outdoor fireplaces is very popular.

The options are to use imported hardwood for its durability and colour or composites (resin and wood fibre mixed) for durability and even simple treated softwood but using large plank sizes. This can give a more solid appearance to a deck and allow more dramatic curves to be formed as the large section timber permits greater overhang from the sub-frame.
