We can either call at the family home to meet with the bereaved family or arrange to meet the family at the office.

A full restoration service can be provided where we can re-erect fallen memorials, clean memorials and restore inscriptions which can be regilded in 23 1/4 carat gold leaf, repainted in black, white or silver paint and in some cases even silver leaf. John McNeil Funeral Directors was formed in 1948 when John McNeil Snr acquired the business of the very well known H.P. McLaughan in Hanover St. Stranraer. At that time, the funeral directing profession across the country was usually combined with a joinery business and John McNeils was no exception, working for many years as funeral directors and joiners.
