Im based in Hastings, East Sussex, and Ive been avidly taking photos since I was 12 years old. Whilst Im interested in many forms of photography, professionally, I specialise in weddings and portrait photography. I see wedding photography as an extension of portrait photography, since its mostly about capturing the people and the emotions, and this is something I have always loved doing.
I would describe my style of Wedding Photography as Reportage - natural, relaxed, candid shots. My approach is to mostly use long lenses, so I can photograph people from a discreet distance, without them being aware of being photographed.

Services
An initial meeting to discuss plans and ideas, plus a second, pre-wedding meeting with the couple, ideally at the reception venue. 450 - 550 (often more, depending on how many hours Im booked for) large, high resolution, high quality images, all corrected for brightness, contrast, colour and skin tone, to make them look their very best.

We can't talk highly enough of, or recommend Simon highly enough for making our wedding day so special. Simon was fantastic to us from the moment we met at Durbar Hall to discuss what was wanted on our big day, which we were completely unsure about, right up to the minute he left us at the end of our day. Simon's knowledge of Hastings made us achieve the most perfect day and photos. He was able to advise us on a lovely local pub for our guests to go to whilst he whisked us off for photos on the sunset beach, which were just amazing and that was in November, so not a lovely summer's day. Simon photographed our wedding in the beginning of November, and he was just wonderful!
He listened to what we liked, what we didn’t like and really tailored to our day!
Neither myself or my husband enjoy having our photo taken, but Simon helped us to feel relaxed and ensured we didn’t feel posed or anything like that!
Not only is he a fantastic photographer who provided us with a huge amount of stunning photos, he was also a lovely guest to have at our wedding and blended in with our friends and family so well! ❤️

We would not hesitate to to recommend Simon, and are so glad we chose him to photograph our daughter and son in laws wedding in October.

We used Simon Booth Photography to capture the photos for our prospectus at Hailsham Primary Academy.

Simon is absolutely fantastic! We knew after a few seconds of meeting with Simon that he was the photographer we wanted to photograph our wedding. Incredible! We were so overwhelmed with the gorgeous photos Simon took on our wedding day. Everyone we’ve shown has commented ‘I didn’t even realise he was taking a photo of me at that point’, which is exactly what we wanted. We got some gorgeous and hilarious natural shots. Every time we look through we get to relive the day which is more than we could have ever asked for. Thank you Simon, I could not recommend him to photograph your wedding or special occasion more!
