My first time and It was so simple and easy to book I was surprised. On top of that you don't have to do anything just fill out the details and they handle the rest custom declaration and also sending an automatic email to the other party letting them know about the collection date and time and steps they should take.

Will defo be using this website again! Was misinformed of a delivery address, had to cancel delivery, BUT didn't have to pay again, just altered address. This is the third time I use ParcelHero. The two large boxes I sent to San Diego arrived promptly (less than a week) the large one I sent to Sydney took 7 days.

I booked a parcel over 36kg with them and paid £47 (UK to UK). My customer changed his mind, so I cancelled the shipment and paid a £9 cancellation fee. The refund was supposed to arrive within 7 business days. Today it has been 14 business days and I have not received my refund yet. I contacted the not very nice customer service who told me that I had to wait an additional 7-10 working days. What a terrible service I got... I don't recommend it, there are other companies that send at a similar price.

Stay away! You can't contact them, parcel not picked up in 4 bookings and cancelation fee it's a rip off £6 and if you want to cancel becacuse of them you have to pay anyway as you can't contact them. Please stay away. Honestly they should be reported as scammers together with parcel compare. I regret not reading the reviews.

Not sure why this is but with the things I sell all the obvious fraudsters want to use ParelHero. They want to send cash with no questions asked and of course the cash will never arrive! They never want to know about any other courier even though I say I will send by ...D.

Honestly wish i had read the reviews before using this company, also feel sick that i even have to say they're worthy of one star! Please don't use them and advise you to book directly with the courier such as Hermes, the extra insurance is a scam and they will refuse to pay out regardless of how well you package the item, even if you follow their packaging guidelines they will use terms like "strong' cardboard box and keep copying and pasting generic emails, you'll get nowhere and until new regulations come in later in the year theres not alot you can do apart from take the matter to small claims

The delivery was late for days and never received any response from them . Th eparcel arrived and there was a note on it for the workers... Can anybody finally take this package...
the took money from my account saying the parcel was overweighted.
That is a lie from them.

My advice to anyone is do not use this company. If I could give minus stars I would. In short...They took my money, didn't deliver my parcel, I had to chase them countless times to get any answers, then they told me it had "dangerous items" inside so it had been held (these turned out to be Christmas chocolates), they then told me I had to pay the same amount again to get my parcel returned as it couldn't be delivered, charged the original card I paid with without my permission (which means they kept all of my card details, which is illegal) and eventually, 2 months after the original postage date

DO NOT USE! SCAM!
I use courier services often for my business and post out 10-20 parcels weekly. I signed up with every intention of moving my business to this company for all my future courier needs but unfortunately the very first job that was booked in was a MASSIVE failure!
Sign up was very easy but they were very quick to take my money but no courier details or confirmation was passed on.
I contacted customer services to be told the job was booked on but payment was not received and unless payment was made no service would be provided. I continued to send screen shots etc to prove this

Contrary to the many poor views on ParcelHero I had a perfect experience. I bought a microwave from eBay which the seller was advertising as "Local Collection Only" as such I looked at a cost efficient way of getting it by courier. ParcelHero were able to get the Parcel Force Collection and Express 48hr delivery service for a total of £12.50 whereas bought directly from Parcel Force this was priced at over £33. The specific courier choice was displayed to me when I purchased through the ParcelHero website and it was very easy and quick to enter the required details which only took me a few minutes

The worst company I have ever dealt with if I could leave no stars I would. I had a parcel booked for collection from Rollerdoor UK for which I paid £100 which included Insurance just in case it was damaged in transit. My parcel left Rollerdoor UK in tact and arrived with me trashed. I contacted Parcel hero to inform them with photos of the damage as to the state my parcel and the way it had arrived. All the responses I received repeatedly went on about their packaging criteria and how my package did not meet their packaging criteria. I contacted Rollerdoor uk and they informed me they never have

This is a scam, avoid it at any cost. They are not delivery companies like UPS or Hermes, they are middle man, they charge money for other rubbish small cheap companies.
I used their service for sending a parcel to Iraq, it was supposed to arrive within less than a month for £ 54. They could not send me name or contact of their agent in Iraq. After a month and a half, I received my parcel again and it was labelled as a return. ParcelHero provided me with their contact number ‘’Ministry of culture’’ in Baghdad 😊.
Then to make it worse, they charge me again £ 72 for the return service

What a terrible company full of thieves and unprofessional people! I have never thought it exists a company like that. I sent a mobile phone to my girlfriend. After the collection I couldnt track it. When I asked them, they said they didnt know where the package was. I was waiting 1-2 weeks more, after they told me that the package was returned because of unknown issues. Then they sent me back THE EMPTY ENVELOPE , without the phone inside. They stole it! They said it was not their fault and they will investigate it. What a shame!!! The worst company ever!!! Package was picked up with no issue, which I was surprised about as it was a heavy item, was told it might be returned if over the weight limit - which it wasn't. Got to the other end and the buyer had to pick the package up himself and the item had been damaged to the point of it no longer working. So now I no doubt have to go through the expense of getting the item returned.

If I'd known what I know now I'd have saved the money on shipping and delivered it myself.

I'm not someone who gives 1 star likely but this company is special.

My story is similar to others, where my simple RMA was delayed by a month to be picked up which pushed it out of the normal RMA period.

They scuffed the paperwork, meaning I was required to pay import tax on a product I was returning, naturally charging me for the privilege, and saying I'd need to pay for it to be returned.

Then when I offer to provide the information that proves my case, they say they can open up a dispute with the courier, without asking me to provide it.

After paying £10 for enhanced cover for £250 on an iMac I was sending, the iMac arrived with shredded packaging and the driver telling the receiver it should not have been sent just 2nd class if it was of value!!! Clear that adding on cover does not mean the driver knows it is of value, it just means it went 2nd class and Parcel Hero just cross fingers it arrives ok inside the parcel so they don't have to possibly process a claim.
In my case luck meant the iMac of ok and as such their support take no accountability that they are taking extra off people for better cover but taking no care

First time user of ParcelHero. Nine packages to collect over two days. Eight collected. Ninth uncollected. Of the eight, seven have been delivered.
I decided, as time was of the essence, to cancel the ninth and send it by Royal Mail. So, when I went to the cancel page, discovered I'd be charged the full price of delivery, even though the parcel hasn't been collected. Hermes, apparently, make three attempts to collect but if the courier never arrived, can you describe that as an attempt? It's not my idea of an attempt.
On the ParcelHero site, it says a parcel may not have been collected

Dropped my parcel off the night before I was supposed to so it was there for 9am on pick up day - checked a few days later and no sign of it on the tracking. Contacted parcel hero and seemed to be getting unhelpful automated responses to my query. Gave up. Went to the drop off point shop and the parcel was still there. So picked it back up and cancelled the order. My Parcel had been put together by me and my parents for my brother who lives in New Zealand and we'd put some sentimental things in it so I couldn't risk losing it. Based on my own experiences, I'm finding it very difficult to believe any of the positive reviews for this company. Absolutely atrocious service, no way of contacting the company other than email. The replies you get are scripted stalling tactics, anything that goes wrong isn't their fault. Nobody seems bothered that a parcel worth more than £400 has vanished.
Please don't make the mistake I made in going for a cheaper option. Go with a company you can trust, it's worth the extra money. This company shouldn't be allowed to trade. Never again!

Awful experience. Turned my life into a nightmare for 3 days. made me wait for the courier in my office for 2 days promising they would come, which didn't happen. Charged me a cancellation fee (which was an advice taken from a customer support person) even though they completely failed to contact the courier to figure the situation out, did not provide with an acceptable solution, did not discuss any questions I had, instead kept coming back to me with copy-paste answers. Customer support staff refused to re-direct me to his supervisor or manager in order to sort the situation out. Disappointing

I would give ZERO if I could. I scheduled for same day pickup. The courier never came. I re-scheduled to next Monday with plenty of time for them to arrive. They never came and I never got a reason why. I was just told to reschedule again. I had to cancel and look for another company. This made me look very unprofessional to the people where the pickup was going. Horrible and do not recommend their service. Also I had to pay 6Pounds cancellation fee!!!

There are many silly problems with is website which make it unnecessarily a chore to use on regular basis, these would be easy to address with inputs from an experienced industry user. Clearly the website has been designed by an overpaid idiot who thinks he is wonderful, there are to many around like that who think that content and widgets are everything. They are not, we as users want simplicity and quick results, sadly you do not get that here. Though it could be easily fixed. Sorry if this seems a rant but I have a lot of experience in software development and understand the business user needs

The company was hired to transport boxes from the UK to US. 8 of the 10 boxes arrived. 2 were shipped back to the UK. The 8 that arrived contained items damaged beyond repair. This is the response I received this morning after 5 months of back and forth with Parcel Hero:

The company was hired to ship several parcels safely to me from another country. The company failed to provide adequate forms to get the parcels though customs, but I watched the tracking and called in time to save a delay. However, instead of sending directly to me, they sent to themselves, thus using two third party companies that I was not made aware of. In trying to find my order, I incurred a great amount of international calling fees to both the company and to the third party shippers. There were odd things about my order, such as 3 of the 13 parcels being sent to Germany.

Don't expect any customer service if anything goes wrong with your shipment and and be prepare to lose your money.
I paid £358 to parcel hero for international shipment of my package from UK to US. They failed to collect and deliver my parcels due to "missing commercial invoice" which they issue themselves and was attached to the parcels, but still charge me for the full shipment. I have contacted them over 5 times in the past month and Ben Fisher (seems to be the only customer rep as I get to him only) tell me they looking into it. I tried to escalate to their management, no response

I should have read the reviews before booking this service. Both my friend and I were charged enormous amounts more than we should have been charged. I carefully measured everything and rounded up, intentionally paying more to start with so they don't come at me with hidden weight fees. And they sent an email saying I had said my packages were 69.21 kg and they found 75 kg (I sent three small boxes less than 40 kg total, and rounded up to a flat 45kg).

For my friend's packages they took three identical boxes and magically added dimensions to some of them. There are tons of others facing
