The Grill
Established in 1870 as a restaurant, the name has remained unchanged from that time. Situated in the heart of Aberdeen at 213 Union Street, this traditional bar is located directly opposite the recently renovated Music Hall which plays host to a wide range of concerts and shows. We are just a 5 minute walk to His Majesty's Theatre and many local restaurants, and are well known for our welcoming environment for people of all ages.

Always a popular meeting place, we can offer a wide selection of lagers, ales and spirits in addition to our internationally renowned whisky selection. The Grill is one Aberdeen bar you must make time to visit!

To me the Grill will always be Aberdeen's finest. A can't miss for any for any whisky lovers. The ladies behind the bar do an excellent job, very competent and always welcoming and charming (and fun). The new owners are keeping it as good Agnes would have wanted it to be...

Steve and his missus address very hospitable, as are the other staff. Kenny's a hoot, buy him a JD& coke. Great selection of whiskies but, honestly, don't trust Steve's opinion🤪

A beautiful old pub. Massive whisky selection. A great place for drinks before and after a gig at the Music Hall across the road.

Not what I expected but in a good way. Reputation and outside appearance makes this little bar look rough. HOWEVER looks and history are deceiving. It's welcoming, friendly and very well lit. Amazing selection of whiskeys and tasting options. Good atmosphere.

Small pub. Good prices.
Was here on a pub crawl a while back and was a good laugh. A little crowded at times due to the size of the place but I can't take away their cheap prices and ciders on tap which were refreshing. Staff were fine too so no complaints.

No finer bar in Aberdeen. Had an impromptu whisky tasting and sampled some excellent drams that I wouldn't have otherwise tried thanks to the recommendations of the very knowledgeable bar tender. Cheers!
