Raemoir Garden Centre has been helping and advising gardeners for almost 20 years! A local, independently managed business we're able to offer products that meet customers' needs and not those of a distant head office. The Garden Centre started from scratch on a greenfield site by local GP Dr Frank Mair, an enthusiastic amateur gardener who saw the lack of resources for gardeners in the area.

Despite a lack of business or retail experience, his plan for the Raemoir Garden Centre was to introduce quality plants to the area while providing a pleasant family day out. Our company ethos is to listen to and learn from our customers, offering choice, quality and personal service. Big changes have taken place over the years, with the addition of the Garden Restaurant, Raemoir Cafe and the Gift and Accessories shop.

Never disappointed at Raemoir Garden Centre, well laid out and never feels busy, even when there are lots of people,in the store.
Fantastic festive display, worth a look for that alone. Always something different for Christmas, or any other time of year.
Reasonable prices, and friendly staff.

A very popular place with the restaurant being very busy. Sells everything from books to pottery, delicates and garden essentials. Not a cheap place but lots of quality.

Love this place but deducted 1 star because we can't take our dog into the outside area of the cafe, dogs allowed in the shop. We visited the Cafe in August, short staffed and very busy equalled terrible service. Will try one more time in the future to see if things improve.

The rating is for the café/restaurant which is excellent. Really lovely food options and worth a visit. They also have a nice food hall for picking up deli treats.
In terms of actual plants, there's more floor space dedicated to gifts and decor and it's definitely not cost conscious... Great stop for lunch and a browse, but possibly not for serious garden shopping.

Big place full of random gifts and materials from pet food to Christmas decor. The polar bear view is pretty good for little children too.
