Nicol Boilers Ltd was founded in 1985 by husband and wife team, Ian and Nancy Nicol. In 2005 they were joined by daughter Laura, having completed an accountancy degree and training. Over the years the company has continued to grow, moving into a purpose built workshop in 2004.
The facility boasts a 4.5 acres site, with the factory housing two floors of office and conference suites, along with a 25-ton beam mounted overhead crane in the workshop area.The building has been positioned and constructed in such a way that it will be easily extended, which we fully anticipate to be the case as the company continues to grow.

Nicol Boilers is a family-owned and operated business, established in 1985, specialising in industrial and commercial steam and hot water boilers. We have a highly qualified and motivated workforce, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with all relevant materials and equipment to carry out boiler and burner breakdowns and repairs.
Whether your requirement for a hire boiler is as a temporary replacement, a standby, for a fixed term production period or for experimental trials, we have a large selection of gas and oil boilers readily available for hire. Boilers available for hire are up to 15,000 lbs of steam per hour and up to 2,000 kw per hour, and are all fully containerised.
We maintain our own coded welders to BSEN287 standard, along with all the necessary equipment, to allow for D-patch repairs and re-tubing. All paperwork, which is authorised by the leading UK insurance companies, such as weld procedures, method statements and risk assessments, are prepared for all jobs.
We are proud to be the Scottish Distributor for the leading steam boiler manufacturer Fulton Boiler Works (Great Britain) Ltd. In addition to Fulton boilers, we also supply new BIB Cochran and Byworth boilers, amongst many others. Should you have a specific manufacturer in mind, we have built-up strong relationships with many boiler manufacturers and as such can provide a full 'turn-key' service, from purchase to installation of your new boiler.
