Our engineering background enables us to provide customers with a general engineering service, batch items or individual engineering work. We can respond to any request to fabricate an item in metal. Our engineering background gives us the unique ability to visualise and create items using descriptions and dimensions provided by customers.
Most modern cars have alloy wheels and the replacement costs of alloy wheels can be very high. Mercury welding and fabrication has developed a system of repair for Alloy wheels that is safe and long lasting. The cost of repair depends on the damage the wheel has sustained, but we will be happy to provide you with an estimate before any work commences and advise you if the cost of the repair is likely to be more than the cost of a replacement.

I cannot rate Steve enough!
Repaired and strengthened a cast alloy starter motor case.
Made some planned repairs to a carburettor and also identified and repaired additional faults that I had not seen.
Great service and quick turnaround.
Steve certainly knows his stuff and I will be returning without hesitation! I would highly recommend.

5 Star Service. Steve is very helpful and extremely knowledgeable when it come to welding. This is the 2nd time I have used Steve to weld my broken alloy wheels. Both times he has completed the job within a day. The 2nd time he finished it with 5 hours and even dropped it back to the tyre fitter for me. Excellent Service. Wish more businesses were like them!

I was recommended to Steve for a possible repair to a damaged front alloy wheel. One phone call and 4 hours later I had a call from Steve to say the repair was done and was ready for collection. Steve I cannot thank you enough for what you done and the saving I made over a replacement wheel, superb workmanship and and at a very reasonable cost, more than happy.

Took our rare motorcycle part to be welded to a support frame. Steve did a fantastic job, he did it within 24 hours and the cost was very responsible.Steve is Very interesting chap and has loads of knowledge in all sorts of things and is interested in what you have to say. Nothing is too much trouble and Steve takes time to understand what you want. I would throughly recommend this Company to anyone who restores motorcycles and classic cars.

After speaking to Steve at Mercury, he assured me that he would be able to sort it. He gave a little background of his experience, and his knowledge came across immediately. I dropped the wheel off to him the same day, and it was ready to collect the next day. The repair was perfect. He straightened out either side of the crack, and welded it. You'd never know he'd been there! It balanced perfectly and was absolutely straight. He

I came across Steve at Mercury Welding on google whilst searching for someone to fix a damaged motorcycle frame. From the moment I spoke to Steve on the phone I knew I was in good hands. Steve has a wealth of knowledge and this is confirmed through the quality of his work. His communication was excellent and rang me to explain each stage of the repair. The repair was completed very quickly and the price was very good. I will definitely be using Steve again in the near future and would not hesitate to recommend him.
