Bayer Solicitors is a tight knit team with wide legal experience from transactional matters to dispute resolution and general advisory work for private individuals and companies. The firm was established in 2010 by John Bayer, who has over 20 years experience with law practices, to provide a high level of expertise and personal commitment to each client's affairs at a reasonable cost.
Services
After completing a business degree in Sheffield, John undertook the legal conversion course and completed his Law Society Finals Exam at the College of Law in York in 1993. He completed his training at Mishcon de Reya, a leading central London firm, working in their litigation department. In 1997, he joined London firm, Myers, Fletcher and Gordon, becoming the property and private client partner in 2003.
Our clients include investors and developers, tenants and landlords - often they own a business and are looking to sell an existing property or buy/lease a new one. We encourage clients to talk to us in the early stages of a deal.

We can contribute to the assessment of the initial considerations, such as any permitted use restrictions that would affect the ability to carry out the anticipated business in the property, or the decision as a landlord as to what type of business to allow in the property.Identifying problems early means we have the time to formulate a solution or suggest an alternative approach.
We offer a friendly and professional service to clients who are buying or selling their home or other family property. Our team has the experience to deal with transactions promptly and efficiently, keeping the hassle and pressures usually associated with moving home to a minimum. Talk to us as soon as you decide to move.
A Will is usually simple and inexpensive to draft and we encourage all our clients to have their's prepared. They are often surprised by the worth of their assets and the affect on the distribution of their estate if no Will was in place. A professionally drafted Will can help avoid unintended consequences and reduce the possible liability to inheritance tax.
Employment problems can arise without warning, perhaps because of a change in the law or through ignorance of the proper legal procedures. As well as helping to resolve immediate problems, for the employee we can ensure you are aware of your wider contractual obligations to your employer and, for the employer, that you have the proper procedures in place for your particular business.
