Alison and Jon launched Care 4 Pets in June of 2000. Their initial two person businesses expanded by recruiting other like minded people to work with them. The business then developed into a pet care agency and recruitment was carried out in other areas. Alison continued to work within the pet industry by training as a dog groomer which then led to the opening of a dog grooming salon on Park Crescent in Barry.
At the same time, My Favourite Pet shop was opened next door at 120 Park Crescent. Both businesses continue to grow and employ 7 people. Janette has been working with Care 4 Pets for many years. She is a much sought after dog walker, home visitor and house sitter. Together with her partner Phil they don't have a great deal of spare time between them as they are quite in demand.

Our accomplished South Wales team of pet carers have all cared or currently care for animals of their own. Each carer is police checked, vetted by the Care 4 Pets staff and their current premises inspected to ensure that they are suitable for the pets that they will be looking after. All of our carers are covered by the company's public liability insurance in the event of any third party accident occurring whilst caring for your pet.
