I see the last review was way back in 2015. Most of the remarks perhaps were true BUT those who made them, should have a good look again. People of five and ten years ago had no great interest in looking after the club. It became almost a derelict site, where football was played on. A new adventitious chairman arrived on the seen four years ago and has done wonders. Yes, he has had some help but first of all the clubhouse has had a really good make over, so people who wish to hire it, for what ever reason, now feel happy and there is a very good stocked bar as well. First-Hand Experience: As part of a little London stadium tour that I did with David T (not on Yelp), we checked out this place up in Essex. It's a decent little tiny stadium, and I have to give it a 3. We didn't get to see a game here but I'll return for a game one day, I am sure. I have pix of the stadium somewhere to scan and upload. The team is one which the area should be proud of, and honestly I like them more than the big boys - D & R.

Barkingside Stadium, or Oakside Stadium as it's now known is an interesting one, and stretches the very definition of Stadium.
First let me say that the pitch is not something us locals are proud of. And us locals know all about it because every time we jump on the Central Line to get uptown we see it when we cross the little bridge to get to the platform at Barkingside Station. Apparently Tottenham's Stadium is made from 90% sand. Well, the difference at Barkingside is I'd say it looks like 90% sand. Usually you'll see a few strands of grass near the corner-flags but the rest
