The Duke of Wellington is a beautifully-restored 18th century pub and restaurant situated close to stunning Stanwick Lakes and the Rushden Lakes shopping mall. Our team of chefs create fine, fresh food daily and we have a selection of wines and ales to satisfy the most pampered of palates. We also have a huge, double-deck barn which hosts regular music events and is an ideal venue for private parties, weddings and corporate events.
As the only pub in our village we see ourselves as the hub of the community and do our best to support local charities and activities. Great pub, staff are lovely, food excellent pub grub, Nice Menu and food arrived hot! Reasonably priced. I would thoroughly recommend. This village is lucky to have such a fab pub!

Having previously being quite impressed with the food, I was quite underwhelmed with the meals my wife and I had today. We ordered the beef burgers which really weren't worth the £14 each, served with chips which clearly had been cooked some time before and were dry and cold. Hopefully it was just a bad day but really not great.

The website is superb and lets you know everything you need to know.
We ordered our meals in advance as it was a large party. They cleverly spotted a small but important error in the order that I had made.
Our welcome on the day was superb.
Last minute, unforeseen changes due to illness were handled seamlessly.
The best part was that the food was really excellent; decent quality ingredients very well prepared.

First return after a long >2 year gap due to previous poor service and high pricing.
This experience was excellent, starters & mains for 3 people all very good, tried the ox-cheek, lamb pie and slow-roast belly pork, won’t tell you the best one as may not be any for me next time, 😂.
Can assure you ALL were very good, decent portions and value for money.
👏👏👏 to the chef especially, service from staff was very good too.
Won’t be long before we return again, well done all 👍👏👏

Just had a fabulous Sunday lunch with some friends. The Duke of Wellington came highly recommended so we thought we'd give it a try. Usually someone will recommend a place and when we go nine times out of ten we are disappointed, not this time though. Highly recommend the Sunday roast, we shared a mezze to start then three of us had roast beef and all the trimmings the fourth in our party had the pork. Absolutely delicious. From walking in, the greeting the surroundings all top notch, lovely service very attentive staff a delightful gem. We will be back to slowly work our way through the gorgeous

We went for our first family meal with our 2 year old and the service was friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful.
The servers were fantastic checking we were getting on okay with the app, that everything was okay with our meal.
The food was delicious and the children's chicken meal was cooked perfectly.
The beer and wine were cold and lovely and refreshing in a lovely location sat in the seating area at the back with the lovely back drop of the church.
