Having bought a Harrier 48 from Ashley Mowers when I lived in Cheshire, I went back to them to buy a Harrier 56 Pro to be delivered to Geneva, Switzerland (Hayter are not sold here). From start to finish the experience, advice and customer service was excellent. Beverley and Nigel were very helpful and communicated with me effectively. A happy and satisfied customer.

They have a good range of mowers, I had initially wanted a low budget mower but decided to go to an independent specialist and walked away with a good mower for the price I paid. Really pleased with the service. Don't buy online elsewhere if you can make the trip here. They even set it up and add fuel and oil so you don't need to have any hassle when you first use it.

I ordered parts over the phone and was told it would be a couple of pounds postage. On arrival they had charged me £7 postage for a 75mm long 5mm thick rubber pipe and a small plastic trigger. They didn't include the petrol filter I asked for and the trigger was the wrong one. I took them back at a cost of £5 in fuel to the shop and their attitude was vile. While there, a woman in her sixties brought in a electric hedge trimmer that she had cut through the electrical cord. She asked them to repair it and they quoted her £50 to reconnect the cable. They said she should look at buying a new one
