The British Equestrian Trade Association has launched its Summer of Safety - a three-month awareness-raising initiative designed to demonstrate how equestrian products play a frontline role in keeping horses and riders as safe as possible. Information about the latest standards of riding hats, body protectors and how they should fit is available to download.
Welcome to the British Equestrian Trade Association's website where you can find out more about how we have been supporting the equestrian industry for over 30 years. Great Britain offers a huge range of riding options from formal instruction to trekking across moorland or riding along beaches. There's fun, fresh air and exercise to be had for all.

Mission Statement: "The British Equestrian Trade Association works to support our members in their efforts to achieve the highest level of repute, knowledge and profitability". BETA was formed in 1979 and has grown to be recognised and accepted as the official representative body for the equestrian manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade by Government and leading riding organisations.
Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email from us confirming your details and your Internet account will be activated, usually within one working day. Please enter one below, and then to avoid mistakes, confirm it a second time. BETA offers a wide range of benefits including training, discounted services and our support as the only specialist equestrian business organisation in Europe.
With so many of the riding public paying more attention than ever before to matters of safety, we felt it the ideal time to broaden our campaign to cover areas that we haven't focused on before, as well as the usual suspect of hats and body protectors. The focus of the campaign will be on understanding how products work to improve safety, their care, maintenance and what goes into them to make riders and their horses safe.
The conference is a fantastic opportunity for different sectors of the industry to get together, network and gather expert information and advice to help them run their own businesses more effectively. Dr Pat Harris and Dr Annette Longland will start the day with a focus on sugar and is followed by a session on the Equine microbiome before lunch.
The 2021 BETA Feed Awareness Week is over but we have some great videos you can watch on our YouTube channel. BETA Feed Awareness Week is an annual campaign to dispel feeding myths and improve your knowledge of equine nutrition. The initiative is taking place throughout the UK and is supported by leading equestrian organisations - and BETA retail and feed company members.
