Hi, my name is Richard Lister and along with my wife Kathryn, we own and run Why Queue Vehicle Valeting. For many years I've had a passion for looking after my own vehicles, from privately owned cars to company cars. I had often thought about giving up a secure job in print management, but having a young family, it was very hard to make that giant leap of faith to leave a steady secure job for a dream.
If your car has developed swirl marks over time or has surface scratches we offer paint correction work which can remove and improve surface defects. We also offer machine polishing service to enhance your paintwork. Caravans and motorhomes can also be given a new lease of life by machine polishing to bring back original lustre.
We always endeavour to honour any price quoted, however in certain circumstances where there is particularly heavy external contamination or internal soiling (excessive pet hair or staining etc) it may be necessary to spend additional time to ensure your vehicle is left in a condition that meets our high standards and your expectations.

Delighted with the valeting of my car and lovely people to deal with. Highly recommended.
Just had my leather driver's seat restored and repaired in June 2021 - it's an amazing job, the seat looks like new and the colour match is perfect. The seat had worn and cracked over the years of getting in and out of the vehicle. Thanks Richard for doing such a fantastic job of keeping my car in showroom condition. I highly recommend this service it's a great addition to the valeting.

Kathryn and Richard had my 7 year old motorhome for three days. They gave it a full mechanical polish and applied the Meguiars Wax. The results are amazing! Before and after photos are on their Facebook page.
Highly recommend these guys, they are a lovely couple, passionate about what they do. If it is something you are considering have done, book early as they are in great demand and booked up well in advance.

We have two young children and our car takes quite a heavy battering (think food, grime etc.). I couldn't picture it ever looking properly clean again but then WhyQueue Vehicle Valeting worked absolute magic yesterday and our car has never looked so clean. It looks brand new both internally and externally. The attention to detail is incredible and we were amazed and over the moon at the results. Even the children's car seats were fully vacuumed and look amazing. We highly recommend!

Why Queue came to my house today to valet my caravan arriving at 8 45 and working all day until 3.45. They are very professional and have now brought my van up to new again.
I happened to notice the van they came in and can honestly say I've never seen anything so organised! Clean clothes in neat piles cleaning products neatly lined up it was an amazing sight. They were both very friendly and explained everything they were doing to me. Cleaning waxing buffing more waxing. I am delighted and would honestly recommend them for any valeting from caravans to high end cars.

We had Richard and Kathryn do a full wax protection valet on our motorhome today at it's storage location. Everything was completed safely in line with the current distancing regulations and the results are… superb. We keep our pride and joy in good condition but they really took it back to 'like new' and we will certainly be using them again to keep it that way. Many thanks.

I have been using Richard for the last 18 months and his service is second to none. He has everything on his van including power and water and his only requirement is a black coffee with sugar to get him going. His attention to detail is excellent and after each valet the car feels like new again. I book Richard every six weeks, which bearing in mind I average 3000 miles between valets, keeps the car in show room condition. Neighbours and friends have been impressed with his work and they also now use him. Great service for a very fair price.

Had my Audi Valeted by Richard a couple of weeks ago. He did a fantastic job. The Wax is keeping it clean in the bad weather and every inch of the car is as near to perfect as possible. I was especially impressed with the job he did on my chrome exhaust tailpipes, definitely worth the money for this optional extra. I've had valets in the past that cost more and did not deliver as good results as Richard.

Just had the pleasure of meeting Richard and letting him work his magic on our 4x4. Richard was recommended by a friend who said he offered an amazing service at an affordable price and I couldn’t agree more! The car is showroom condition inside and out. He worked non-stop on the car for nearly five hours and the transformation is genuinely incredible. The mobile service is so convenient and he had all the professional equipment with him in the van to ensure the finish was flawless. Also worth adding that the whole enquiry and booking process was professional and efficient too.
