Dear Ian and staff - I just wanted to say thanks for a really excellent job on my MR2 Roadster wheels, it makes a huge difference. I no longer have to park it out of sight!
The car was originally fitted with a 3.4 litre Porsche 996 engine fitted with our own 6 throttle body injection system and dta ecu but this has been replaced recently by a 3.8 997 engine which was rebuilt by Strasse in Leeds. The engine uses a Dta S80 pro ECU which operates the variable valve timing and variable valve lift of the standard engine A lightweight flywheel and twin plate clutch are also fitted.
Ian Jemison started his rallying career as a co driver in the first Chevette that he built for the late "Piggy" Thompson and then went on to become a driver, his first rally car was a Ford Escort Mk2, followed by a number of Vauxhall Chevettes in both 2.6 single cam and 2.3 twin cam HSR forms.

Always eager to build something different Ian built a mid engined Vauxhall Nova fitted with one of the first 2.0 litre Vauxhall red top engines to be used for competition. This was used with great success for 8 years and was then replaced with yet another Chevette, this time fitted with a 3.0 litre Vauxhall Omega V 6 engine.
