Warned in no uncertain terms to keep our dog on a lead only to have it attacked by a residents dog,not on a lead!
Postcript: Response to owner. My review was sent some 5 days after visiting. Reporting the matter would hardly undo what had occured, besides we departed before anyone was up and about the following morning.

First solo camp and was absolute heaven. If you want to get back to nature and peace and quiet this is a haven . Never thought I’d feel so safe . Everyone was super friendly from the staff to the guests .
The facilities are immaculate.
Loved hearing the owls at night . As well as the sheep and cows in the morning . Plenty of walks too .
Just make sure you take pegs for hard standing pitches
Loved it see you again

Had a lovely couple of days here. Beautiful grounds and the toilet facilities are kept immaculate.
But the icing on the cake was the staff, everyone was so very friendly and helpful. One staff member even went out of his way to give us a flask of hot water to make tea, while we erected our tent in a short downpour. And Caroline (another staff member) also gave my wife antihistamines and cream to help her after we had been bitten by midges at another campsite elsewhere. I would definitely go back again.

What a hidden gem, lovely site, owners and staff are brilliant loads of local information, nothing too much trouble. Good walks in the area and very central to tour the aryshire coast. The park is kept immaculate ,as for the toilets these were cleaned numerous times a day. Laundry and dish washing facilities are great as well. We had a great stay here, ended up staying 4 nights will be back.
