Established in 1955, DSM Fabrications is a dependable family owned business that provides a quality and reliable subcontract metal fabrication service from our workshops in South Shields, Tyne and Wear. We specialise in fabricating bespoke metal products in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium for many industries nationwide.
We have built up a good reputation by doing this successfully for over 50 years to various industries nationwide, with the majority of work coming from satisfied repeat customers. We believe we balance the use of modern technology perfectly with the traditional skills of our tradesmen, ensuring if problems are encountered we have the mental agility to quickly overcome them.
We can offer a courteous and professional metal working service on the site of your choice nationwide. The range of this work varies greatly from one job to the next. One day we could be modifying excavators and the next we ould be installing a full suite of cell doors at a police station. On contacting us someone will normally visit your site to carry out a survey before providing you with a quotation.
As well as our primary service of providing new products to our clients we are often asked to repair, replace or modify existing fabrications be it in our workshop or on site. In a lot of instances we are required to work without the original manufacturing drawings. In these cases we either copy the existing product directly to your specification or we use an approved draughting company to produce new drawings.
