The village of Maidens is on the north side of Turnberry overlooking Maidenhead Bay and boasts breathtaking scenery, including views of Ailsa Craig, and on a clear day, the Mull of Kintyre.There is a wealth of \local attractions\ on our doorstep as well as excellent transport links with a bus stop at the entrance of the site.

A walker's dream, the coastal path is on the doorstep of Redgates Holiday Park and stretches along County of South Ayrshire. An island located 9 miles from the west coast of Scotland, lying half way between Glasgow and Belfast, Ailsa Craig is a massive volcanic plug made entirely from granite, rising majestically from the Firth of Clyde.

Nice site, some of the touring pitches are to close to busy main road,( traffic noise.) toilet block very clean and tidy but you have to pay for shower £1:00 for ten minutes. Good level hard standing pitch with water and drainage no tv point. WiFi not good. Good shop and excellent fish restaurant nearby.

Absolutely fantastic park. Site manager Alison is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble, her husband John maintains the park and its immaculate. Location is stunning with nearby harbour, shop, bowling club, hotel & restaurant and newly opened café. Been visiting on a regular basis over the last 4 years and I am now in process of purchasing a caravan.

Stayed on this lovely caravan park last week! And looking forward to our next time , We where on a touring pitch and it was completely level, something you don't always find in my 35 years of touring. Toilet block etc is warm and immaculate. Grounds are also maintained to a high standard, and a faboulous play park at the bottom of the site. Alison and John make everyone feel welcome from the minute you arrive. Love Maidens 💗 Redgates.
