The company is a small but perfectly formed family run family unit economising skills and experience. We offer a full service from initial visit, to itemised quote, and all associated building works in between, we offer a full tiling service and neatly measure, plan and install your wood burning stove, taking care of every aspect of the building work, installation and chimney work.
We work with some of the best stove manufacturers in the business to stock an outstanding range of wood burning stoves including ranges and stoves for your living room, dining room, kitchen, snug, conservatory, office, place of work and even your garden room. With brands such as Esse, Hunter, Firebelly, Burley and the new Danish brand Jydepejsen.
Hunter, based in Exeter has been producing outstanding stoves for over forty years and they constantly research and develop their ideas to ensure that their stoves are perfect for the modern home. We love Hunter Stoves as they provide both a traditional range and a contemporary range so there is something to suit everyone!

Lakewood Stoves is proud to stock a range of Dean Forge Stoves. Established in 1969, Dean Forge is an independent manufacturer, supplier and installer of Wood burning and Multi-fuel stoves in Devon. If there is a Dean Forge stove that you particularly like but we don't have in stock, we can order it and fit it for you so just ask.

We purchased our stove from an online retailer but I know they have a great selection at Lakewood's showroom as I've been in before. Arranging was easy and Helen was prompt with communications. Nigel arrived today and was clearly knowledgeable with everything and worked hard to get everything done. They were very conscious about being tidy and did a great job with the install. We are really pleased with the end result and I would definitely use Lakewood again.

I needed a liner fitting to my stove....just on the off chance I called in to there showroom and spoke to Nigel and Helen....very helpful. I rang them back that afternoon with the size of the pipe, and asked when they could fit it in. They managed to fit it in with in 2 week which I thought was amazing as its the run up to Xmas....they even got a chimney sweep to call just before they came.. very helpful company and very friendly nothing was to much trouble....will definitely be recommending to my mate ....cheers guys
