Watfields Limited is a family run and privately owned Precision Engineering Company based in Sheffield born out of a genuine passion for production engineering and all that it entails. Our main services include Machining Services - Turning and Milling, CAD Drawing, Reverse Engineering, Material and Product Sourcing, Design and Development, Sub-contract Work, Machining Only Services and Local, National and International Delivery.
We have the capacity to turn 300mm dia x 1200mm length between centres. Our largest headstock bore diameter is 56mm enabling us to run bars of up to 55mm diameter through the machine. Magazine Bar feeder, 65mm Through Spindle, C axis driven tooling, Subspindle for second ops. We have the capacity to mill 800mm length x 500mm width with either manual or semi CNC machine.
We can help you design and develop your product from an idea through to a working prototype. Our facilities enable us to provide any number of prototypes, alterations and developments. We are happy to provide details of the production method from raw material to finished product in order to help your company estimate and determine lead times, schedules and production plans.
Either from stock or through our extensive network of suppliers, we can offer competitive prices for your product and material requirements. From specialist metal samples to bulk purchases we can supply it all. We also provide application specific advice upon request to ensure you select the right material for your needs.

I was recommended to these guys by a trusted member of a car forum I use. Having spoken to Stuart over the phone last week about an issue I had with my car since fitting larger uprated brakes he gave me enough confidence to take the 2.5hr journey over to see them. I was expecting him to just do some measurements and send spacers and longer studs in… the post to me but having taken the wheels off it he wasn’t happy with what he saw so set about modifying some front spacers to fit perfectly with extended studs and the correct size to match up the rear. Had some wheel adaptors from them but I had an odd ball fitment so took the Lamborghini Countach wheel and hub up to them and not only did they adapt and re-engineer them but they did it in their lunchtime… while I waited what fantastic service from a great team. Plus I’ve got other ideas now of parts that they can probably make for ArtWorkzdesigns where we build Countach recreations so yes five stars to Watfields !

Purchased 2 full sets of spacers & lock nuts to fit 2 Mk7 golf Gtd’s and cant say enough good things about this company. The product is 1st class and so was the customer service . Ordered on a Tuesday afternoon, delivered Wednesday, fitted Thursday and not to mention the price was seriously good compared to others on the market .
