Our practices are open and In addition to urgent and essential eyecare, we are now able to offer routine appointments to patients who feel their eyesight has altered or require an updated prescription/new spectacles. We have social distancing/infection control measures in place and PPE will be used as required to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

As an independent practice we offer a wide choice of frames. The range includes designer brands including Guess, Karen Millen, Gant, Police, Silhouette and Givenchy together with an extensive selection of quality frames to suit all tastes and budgets. Whilst frame design and comfort are essential, we believe lens quality to be the most important factor.
Regular eye examinations are important to maintain your continued optical comfort and health. The primary purpose of a consultation is to ensure the prescription meets the individual requirements of everyday life. The examination includes full screening of your eyes to provide a visual refraction, ocular pressures, fundus photography and visual field check.

So here are my thoughts. Gentleman who tested my eyes made me feel unwelcome and awkward.
He repeatedly ignored my polite requests to explain why the prescription he was suggesting seemed blurred and worse than that in my current spectacles. Eventually he told me not to worry as my eyes would adapt to the new perscription.
I had a similar experience with another Optician years ago, which resulted in me being left with a useless pair of specs, so I was a trifle apprehensive.
Then I went out into the area where new frames are. Here a Lady asked to look at my glasses, disappeared out the back with

Awful service and extremely rude ownership
I asked this company to put new lenses into an existing frame, having used them only a month or so previously for a new pair of glasses. Whilst the service on the first pair was adequate my recent experience has been terrible to say the least.
Towards the end of March the company called me to advise that my glasses were ready for collection. When I visited on 29/3/18 to collect the glasses I noticed a mark on the right lens that appeared to be a scratch. The staff member quickly dismissed it as simply not been cleaned properly and proceeded to wipe them
