Boyd's Blinds Ltd began trading in 2010, although our work in the blinds industry stretches back much further. We are a family run business consisting of father (Tony) and son (Colin). Tony originally started working in the blind industry in 1978. With 40 years' experience behind him, he decided the time was right to start up a business for himself.
Starting as a supplier to the trade, he soon became too busy and at this point, Colin came on board. Colin had trained as a blind fitter with Bradrail Blinds in Bulwell, Nottingham. From here he travelled around selling and fitting blinds. He soon became restless in an office role. So he made the natural transition towards starting up the retail section of Boyd's Blinds Ltd.

Excellent service from Boyds Blinds. I couldn't have wished for a better service. Prompt response from my initial enquiry from Colin who appeared on time for the appointment. He came with an abundance of choices of fabric, design and installation options. What a nice guy! At this visit I was given a timescale which was met. Jonny, the fitter contacted me and arranged to fit the blinds at a time to suit me. He was smart, polite, efficient and demonstrated the operation of the blinds and explained the child safety features. He cleaned up after himself and was cheery from start to finish.I love my
