Roberts Transport (Sussex) Ltd are a family run road transport/distribution and warehousing company based in Brighton (East Sussex) and Littlehampton (West Sussex). The company started out as an 'Owner Driver' operation in 2006 in a Sole Trader entity with one 44 tonne truck. In 2011 with four 44 tonne trucks, a van and a motorbike, the decision was taken to transfer to a Limited Company.
Being a family run company we have that 'can do' approach. As a result we have built up good relations with big and small companies along the way in the UK and in Europe. The drivers have hands free mobile phones fitted so are contactable at all times. We have a variety of trailers, including dual compartment refrigerated, curtain side and box trailers to accommodate your needs.

Services
We offer a NEXT DAY service, a distribution service for temperature controlled and much more. A Next day haulier service is offered through our pallet network, if you place your order before 11am, your consignment will be collected on the same day. A Two day service is also available for those less urgent consignments.

My pallet delivery that was offloaded onto the middle of the street where it could not be moved off the road due to the parked cars. It was an adapted pallet with vertical boards attached to it. The driver didn't stop to see if I could move it and wouldn't take the pallet away even though I unwrapped the item while he was still there.

We had what could have been a very difficult delivery for wood pellets, but due to really good customer service Rick sorted this out - Shawn (Sean?) the delivery guy was so lovely and helpful and between them they really helped to ensure we were able to have the delivery dropped to our property, which otherwise would have been very difficult. We're really, really grateful - 5 star plus service. This is the second time we've had a difficult delivery from them, but Roberts always seem to take it one step further to make things happen. I hired a van for the day on Saturday and I really can't rate the service highly enough. Eliane was so helpful and efficient in ensuring all the documentation was completed swiftly and easily. I also changed the size of the vehicle I needed at the very last minute and Elaine bent over backwards to ensure I got what I needed on time. The van was immaculate inside and out. Roberts Transport is now most certainly my number 1 'go to' place for van hire and I would recommend them to anyone. I will most certainly will be back!
