PETrelief provides reliable and friendly dog walking, dog boarding, cat sitting and small pet sitting services in St Albans, Hemel Hempstead and Harpenden and throughout Hertfordshire. We are a family-run business operating from our own home near Hemel Hempstead. Pet Relief is run by myself, Lisa, a former veterinary nurse and my husband Paul is a logistics expert.
We have many pets ourselves, including a dog, 2 rabbits, a guinea pig, 2 hamsters, a chinchilla, a tortoise, several fish and snails. We have also previously had cats, chickens, geese, ducks, stick insects, a budgerigar and a pig! Therefore we can also offer our experience and knowledge in caring for a wide variety of pets.

We understand that leaving a pet alone for a few hours or a few weeks can be a stressful time for both you and your pet, and so since 1995, PETrelief has been offering a number of services which mean your pet can be looked after while you are at work or on holiday. PETrelief provides home-based care and boarding services for caged, hutched and exotic animals in Hertfordshire.
I have recommended her to various Clients whom have needed Relief Care for their Companion Animals and each one has been most happy and very satised with the arrangement. Your service has been a huge help to me all this time and your carers and walkers have been just the best. As we had recently moved to the area, I needed to find a reliable service to visit our house on a daily basis and whom I could trust with house keys.

Since we got our puppy a few years ago, Pet Relief have been amazing. From visits during the day when our puppy was small, to regular walks now and even occasional boarding nights when we go away, our pup always has a great time! Lisa and Paul have also been great and if we ever need to change our plans plans at the last minute, they are always understanding. Through covid they have made sure that they follow social distancing to ensure they provide a safe service. Would definitely recommend.

Pet Relief have provided us with cat feeding visits for over 10 years now. My cats much prefer being left in their own home and surroundings opposed to being taken to a cattery! Pet Relief are consistent, reliable and particularly responsive if you have a last minute requirement too. I would have no hesitation in recommending them if you live in the Hertfordshire areas they cover.

Pet Relief look after my 3 cats in our own home whenever I go away and I can't recommend them highly enough. They are happy to do all the little things like watering plants and turning lights on and off as well as caring for my cats who are always super-happy to see them. Pet Relief have always been reliable, punctual and so good with my babies - I wouldn't trust anyone else.

Pet Relief provides a fantastic service both in terms of dog walking and dog boarding. They have been totally reliable, always finding cover where needed and will do little extra things like turning on and off lights and picking up post. They have found walkers for us when we have needed someone at short notice and have even taken my dog to the groomers when I have been unable to do so. I have complete confidence that my dog will be walked by someone who loves animals and not in an enormous pack unlike so many other companies that you see.

They'll fuss, walk or play with them in the comfort of their own surroundings.
The owners are very friendly and I have trusted them whole heartdly with the welfare of my cats for several years.
This service is invaluable when going away as it saves all the hassle of catteries etc.
