At C & D South West we have logistics and distribution heritage spanning three generations, meaning you are assured of on-time deliveries. C & D Transport was founded in 1987 and has been providing quality distribution to clients for over 30 years. With our depot based out of Chard, Somerset, we are close to the major routes in and out of the South West.
Further to our previous service level updates, our network is now seeing improvements and making some changes to service levels with fewer restrictions in place for service levels as we see volumes stabilising in some parts of the UK.
Despite easing in service restrictions in many areas, we are still seeing a backlog in certain geographies and you will experience delays to these areas due to the national driver shortages as well as driver holidays reducing capacity.Our network is doing all it can to support these postcode areas and recover normal levels as soon as possible.

Seen one of there HGVs going back to Milfield during the week. Had obviously jumped the traffic lights and had a near miss with another vehicle who's right of way it was. Reported this to the company but no explanation. This driver should not be allowed behind any vehicle after demonstrating this type of driving. None of us are perfect but care and attention is needed if driving.

C&D have been looking after our pallet deliveries for over 6 years. No two deliveries are the same in terms of number of pallets, weight/size of load and delivery destinations but C&D and the palletforce network deal with the complexity with excellent back-office admin'. If there are any snags then they are dealt with quickly and professionally.
