We design, bake and decorate cakes for all occasions by hand. Using just a photograph and our expert icing skills, we can create authentic models of people which are almost lifelike! Our Gran's buttercream recipe from Kirchin's Bakery which we have for over 70 years we are renowned for our famous family recipes.

About Report

Kerry has been baking for 26 years since leaving school, she worked in a local bakery called Ratcliffe's and completed her apprenticeship there. Heralding from a family of bakers, Kerry's grandmother owned and ran Kirchin's Bakery, a successful bakery in Widnes, for 25 years. Together we were in the final three for Business of the Year in 2012 in association with Halton Chamber of Commerce Business and Tourism Awards.

Wedding cupcakes went down an absolute treat! Kerry was amazing from the first time we ordered, took some time to really understand what we wanted and went out of her way to make sure it happened. The cupcakes were absolutely delicious and everybody at the wedding loved them.
Couldn't be happier with what we got, would definitely use again for any special occasions and would highly recommend. Thanks for everything Kerry

Excellent service & Gorgeous looking & tasting 60th birthday cake after realising Colin the caterpillar cake was not going to go down well.
This is local service at its best with attention to detail ithat is superb even carrying the cake out to the car.

Fabulous birthday cake for shared 60th. The half and half cake was gorgeously decorated half for me and half in pink for the lady. Sponge moist and light with sumptuous filling. Cupcakes also fabulous with great sponge and plentiful toppings. One guest had 3!- you know who you are 🤣

Kerry is fantastic nothing is too much trouble and she always goes the extra mile. I ordered a cake for my mum’s 75th birthday and my sister’s 50th. It was a joint birthday because my sister couldn’t… celebrate her birthday due to lockdown. I wanted to say Thank you for making my mum & sisters birthday extra special. A couple of weeks ago I ordered another tray bake for my sisters fur baby’s 1st birthday.
