Homme House is our Grade II* listed country home nestled in 200 acres of rural Herefordshire countryside close to the Gloucestershire border, with beautiful views of the Malvern Hills and Cotswolds beyond. Family owned and family run, we offer Homme on an exclusive use basis with an approach not like commercial venues, but as a warm and welcoming family home that's relaxed and as flexible as possible.
Homme is still very much open for business, but to do so in a way which strictly follows Government advice we are unfortunately not currently not able to welcome visitors in person. Services
We are incredibly grateful to the wonderful team of people who work with us to look after this special place; none more so than Megan & Roy, who have worked here at Homme for over 55 years as housekeeper and gardener, respectively. The current owners of Homme, Jocelyn and John took a leap of faith and moved here to support the previous generation in 2001.
The Homme House Estate has heeded the original Kyrle family motto in enduring the ups and downs of over six centuries and fifteen generations of continuous, extended family ownership. We hope you enjoy reading about the history of Homme, the people that have lived here and the subsequent restoration.
Homme is an elegant, relaxed and flexible haven for a special event, whether you have a family gathering, photoshoot or company retreat in mind. Prices and availability vary according to the day of the week, time of year and length of stay but don't hesitate to get in touch to discuss your ideas and we will accommodate them where possible.
We offer guest rooms in 3 spaces at Homme, allowing you to accommodate up to 32 in 14 bedrooms for your wedding. All of the available accommodation is reserved for you and is in your gift, with no obligation to use any or all of the guest rooms, so you can decide exactly who you would like to stay with you for your wedding.
Homme remains a living, breathing family place, and we hope everyone who visits enjoys the relaxed warmth of a genuine family home. The reception rooms of the house overlook the gardens and parkland beyond, and are filled with original period features and curios collected by the generations who have called Homme home.

My wife and I got married at Homme House in December 2021 and it was perfect. We sadly were affected with covid postponements in the build up but we really can’t express how thankful we are to Charlie and Sarah at Homme House for all their support over the last 2+ years with the planning, postponing and rearranging. Nothing was too much trouble and the venue were steadfast in their support and helpful suggestions.
And then for the day itself – wow! It really was perfect and worth the wait. Everyone commented on how beautiful the house was and how everyone felt so welcome. The house and grounds

Such a gorgeous venue and really lovely hosts. Nothing was too much for Charlie and Sarah, who made us feel really welcome and comfortable having our wedding at Homme, they also gave us some great advice for the day itself and being married in general. Would recommend to anyone!

What a truly incredible venue. We have been shooting weddings for over 8 years and Homme House is one of the most beautiful venues we have had the pleasure to work at. The team there are amazing. Charlie was so accommodating and a wonderful calming presence. Nothing was too much for them and the service providing was so professional and personal. There are countless stunning photograph spots we really felt spoilt for choice. A magical wedding venue.

We first visited Homme House in July 2020 and met Charlie, who showed us around the beautiful house and gardens. Homme House was the only venue we visited, as we knew straight away that it was the perfect setting for our wedding. Charlie and Sarah provided us with the most detailed guides to planning the wedding, along with a comprehensive list of suppliers. They remained in close contact with us in the months following our visit, providing updated guidance as the covid rules changed, They couldn't have been more helpful when we had to change our date and made everything so easy. Homme has always felt like a family home and we were so lucky we got to get married here in September 2021! Charlie and Sarah have been wonderful from the start with lots of helpful wedding advice and guidance. Homme itself is absolutely beautiful - the gardens are stunning and although we had hoped to get married outside, the inside is just as beautiful.
The great things about Homme house is that you can put your own stamp on it - you can have whichever caterers you like/decorate how you like and there is no corkage!

Homme House really does have it all from a wedding photographers point of view. The interior is beautiful, welcoming and mixes homely with highend. The exterior gardens are absolutely breathtaking and you can easily see why so many couples fall in love with it on their first viewing.
I was made to feel very welcome by the owners and they allowed me to do everything and go anywhere I needed to get the photographs I wanted and that really helps make my job easier and in turn, gets the shots the couples love.
