Services
Our aim, at Regents Court, is to provide care to all residents to a standard of excellence, which embraces all the fundamental principles of good care. This needs to be demonstrated through the practice, conduct and control of quality care in the home. Our objectives are to ensure that all residents live in a clean, comfortable and safe environment; and be treated with respect, dignity and sensitivity to their individual needs and abilities.
Every Monday the Activities Co-Ordinators run a Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) group which allows residents to get involved in conversations about a variety of different topics from money, cars and holidays to jobs, home life and hobbies. This group is excellent for reminiscing and stimulating the mind, and generally having a good chin wag.
Regents Court offers a wide variety of freshly prepared meals. Residents can enjoy four meals a day which offers them choice and dignity during meal times as well as maintaining their independence. Meals are served in the dining rooms and the pub giving residents a choice of seating areas, some residents also prefer to eat in the lounges or even in their own bedrooms.
Regents Court prides itself on making residents feeling comfortable in a homely and friendly setting. One way we achieve this is by encouraging residents to bring in items from home to put in their bedroom to make it more like a home from home. Items such as photos/pictures, ornaments and small pieces of furniture help residents to recognise their surroundings and feel more relaxed.
Our fully trained staff are on hand all hours of the day and night to ensure the residents' needs care are met. Our Registered Manager Becky Dallimore has extensive experience caring for older people living with Alzheimer's and Dementia. All our staff are employed under a rigorous process which enables us to find the best candidates for the job.

All of the staff I have ever dealt with here have been kind, caring and helpful. Like most care homes, it sometimes appears short staffed and possibly due to this there aren't many options for the residents to go on trips outside of the home, which is a shame. But overall, I think the staff here do a great job and are patient under often stressful circumstances.

There is no Activity for the residents, the company on a whole is very poorly run, staff turnover is constant; which is extremely poor especially when caring for residents suffering with dementia. The dignity is also lacking here, I would never send a member of my family here, or advice anyone to work for this company.
