Dapper Dogs, Dog Groomers Cornwall, is a family owned and run Mobile Grooming Spa and Groom Room in Hayle, Cornwall. We are the longest established Mobile Dog Groomers in Cornwall and have been running for around 10 years. We provide a caring, friendly and usually one to one service for your family member (pet).
We are fully insured and City and Guilds trained. Both the Mobile unit and the Groom Room in Hayle are equipped with a hydrobath, the ultimate in a Dog bathing experience. It is a Power Shower for dogs with extremely powerful jets, penetrating the thickest of coats, massaging and lubricating the fur and the skin with no harmful effects, that alongside the Natural and Organic products we use, has a very beneficial effect on the dogs coat.

We came to this business as a result of having been around dogs all our lives, both our families being heavily involved with dogs and dog breeding. We have always had dogs and have always wanted to make a difference to the lives of those that we could. We are a family run business and have been established since 2006.
HOW LONG DOES A FULL GROOM TAKE? - Usually allow one and a half to two hours, this will vary depending on the breed, coat type and temperament. IS AN ELECTRICITY POINT REQUIRED TO PLUG INTO? - Yes, the bath, clippers and blow dryer on board the trailer can only be powered via a cable which needs to be plugged into the mains.
Lesley and Keith have been grooming my little Westie, Jonjo, for over 7 years now. They are extremely kind, patient and caring, plus, he always looks fantastic. I must say he is not in the best of conditions when he gets there, but, upon return looks and smells fantastic. He is never concerned about going with them to be groomed, in fact, I think he gets so spoilt he really enjoys it.
Nail trimming is essential for a dogs good health. If a dogs nails are allowed to grow, they will curl over into a spiral shape; walking will become increasingly painful, putting pressure on the dogs toes. Uncut nails may curl so far as to pierce the paw pad, leading to infection and debilitating pain.
Firstly, drop eared dogs, such as Cocker Spaniels etc., require more attention than dogs with cropped or short ears. There is less air circulating there, and the warm and moist conditions are a perfect breeding ground for bacteria etc., We use a natural cleaning solution to swab out the ears hopefully leaving them clean, depending on the condition of the pets ears to start with.

Absolutely YES would recommend. Casper went for a pamper just before Christmas, unfortunately whilst being groomed Dapper Dogs found an unusual lump, which they recommended I get the vet to check out ASAP. Well it turned out to be cancer 😟 so my boy had to undergo a massive operation on Christmas Eve. So to conclude the story if it hadn’t been for Dapper Dogs finding the lump I would never have found out in time. Casper finished his medication in February and has fully recovered 👍❤️ Dapper Dogs not only gave him a beautiful groom, but they also saved his life
