Milton Ernest Garden Centre is an independent Garden centre established in 1973, it moved to the current site in 1993. The Garden centre is located all on one level which makes it easily accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs, we offer wheelchairs for use of those who need them, located at the customer service.
Services
We are following Government Guidelines regarding relaxing wearing masks etc The Garden Centre is a very light airy safe place to shop with two thirds of the shopping area being outside or under the open sided covered area. The indoor shop has open doors on each side so plenty of air flow with a very high roof space and NO AIR CONDITIONING.
Terry, Stewart and Chris are happy to help and advise you to create your perfect outdoor space. They have years of experience and a wealth of knowledge in everything horticultural. A long flowering favourite of the autumn perennial border. Japanese anemones come from the buttercup family and originate from Asia.
Food supply for our wild birds is normally fairly low during winter and early spring but shortages can happen any time during the year. Feeding the birds is simple and won't take up too much time, its also a lovely activity to do with children. Once birds get used to finding food in your garden they will keep returning for more.
My wife and I use Milton Ernest Garden Centre restaurant regularly at least once a month for Sunday lunch. We have never had any complaints with either food or service and our favorite dish is the Chicken Pie with Roast Potatoes and other seasonable veg and gravy. The pie is home made with large chunks of chicken and a wonderful short crust pastry top and is a good size helping, even for me with a good appetite.

Our second visit for afternoon tea. Good quality food served by friendly staff. A nice blend of coffee served in a pot with additional hot water for coffee strength adjustment if preferred. One suggestion we would make would be to reduce the number of cakes ( four per person is really unnecessary ) and add a small dessert. I also mention that when making the booking we were asked if we had any preference for sandwich fillings - a nice touch ! Very satisfied customers !

Lovely local garden centre. Selling everything you'd expect as well as a great selection of gifts and crafts inside the shop. Coffee shop was lovely with ample seating inside and outside in the covered area. Plenty of parking for a weekday but i imagine it gets busy at weekends. Stopped here for a coffee and a wander before a visit to twinwoods adventure nearby.
