In these days of everything being done remotely on line, we believe our customers like to have contact with a human being, someone they can talk to and someone they know is there to look after their business. We have three account managers who are out on the road every day of the week, covering Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and South London, visiting our customers, answering queries, sorting out issues and taking orders.
We're passionate about freshness and about flavour so the roasting process is vital to us. Our coffees are all roasted in the UK to our particular specification in a highly sophisticated German roasting system. This ensures both an even roast and also the correct breakdown of acids and the caramelisation of natural sugars which produces maximum aroma, flavour and body.
Our blends, which are all marketed under the Contessa brand, have been developed by expert roasters and coffee tasters to produce an exclusive range of coffees which offer complexity, balance and unique flavour profiles. A mild, smooth and sweet blend of coffee blended with a small amount of fig. The fig enhances the sweetness of the blend and prevents the coffee stewing on a hotplate.
To help make life easier for our customers we have a range of coffee makers available to buy, to rent or to lease. However you want to do it, just talk to us and we're sure we'll be able to help you. All we ask is that you buy your coffee from us - whether that's coffee beans or ground coffee and whether you're ordering weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
Coffee has a language of its own. To help you find your way around the world of coffee, here are a few terms that the coffee experts use to define different coffees. Balanced - a well balanced "round" coffee contains all the key characteristics in the right amounts. Winey - a positive term which describes a fruity flavour, similar to the taste of a mature red wine.
