Services
It's a long story, but it's a good one. If you go back 300 years and more, these barns were built as part of Northcourt Farm. The farm itself dates back almost 1,000 years, when it was started by the monks of Abingdon Abbey. Right up to 1945 the farm barns were working buildings, full of crops, machinery, and animals.
We've a fabulous selection of the finest quality loose-leaf teas, so you can enjoy the ultimate tea experience. We get our teas from a small family business in South Wales called Chantler Teas.

Chantlers source all their teas from plantations that are either signatories to Fairtrade or/and are part of the Ethical Trade Partnership (ETP), an organisation of tea producers and importers who work together to ensure the highest possible standard for estate owners and workers alike. So sorry, but we will be closing today (Tuesday 14th) at 2pm This means that Scrabble, Coffee and Crosswords will.
Please note that as we make everything fresh to order here in our little kitchen, there can sometimes be a longer waiting time for your food to arrive during busy periods so please bear with us. Decaffeinated coffee (is processed with Swiss water, so no chemical baddies!), sweeteners, soya milk, almond milk, and skimmed milk available.
Some days you'll find we're putting a little extra fun into the caf - like a 'crafternoon' or a live acoustic session. Like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter to find out when these pop-up events are happening. And if you're new to the area, or just looking for social events and groups to get involved with, there's always lots going on during the week in other parts of the Christ Church site.

Great place to take an elderly relative as you can park close to the entrance on their car park. Also not part of a chain and the cake is fantastic

Lovely find! Nice cottage/barn feel. A traditional tea room. Only negative is it’s not close to the town centre. But a lovely place anyway!

Lovely quaint cafe with a beautifully crafted old fashioned interior. Took advantage of space with some clever seating arrangements within the beans of the ceiling. Food was delightful, as was the attention to detail even for a pot of tea. Came here in between business meetings - set me up wonderfully for the day. Good parking availability and the staff were very friendly.

Fantastic building, I really love the mezzanine levels and it’s always busy. The service staff are mostly volunteers, so you have to wait a bit to get your coffee but they’re all really friendly and willing and you know your purchase is going to a good cause. They have WiFi and a few things for younger children to enjoy whilst you drink. They also have good parking facilities on site so it’s perfect if you don’t want to venture into Abington town centre. I love this venue and go there regularly.
