To give quality service to you, our staff and suppliers, we do not outsource any of our services. Mellors finance, administration, payroll, purchasing department, marketing and human resources are all based at our head office. So if you have a query with your service, or a member of staff has a query about their pay slip, they contact one number and speak direct to the key person - simple.
Staff members and customers of Mellors Catering Services have always been very generous with their time and money, raising money for a whole host of charities. Since 2014, we have consolidated our efforts to support one very worthy and relevant charity, Zo's Place. Our donations to Zo's Place go towards the palliative, respite and end-of life care for babies and children up to five from Liverpool and the north west.
Mellors Catering Services was voted Best Company of the Year for Sustainability (England and Wales) by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountancy in 2007. Mellors Catering Services is accredited by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), for meeting the MSC standard for sustainable and well-managed fisheries.

From major installations to minor tweaks, Mellors Catering Services can design, build and project manage any development requirements you have in your dining areas and kitchens. Capitalisation of development projects is also available if you would like such costs to be spread over the term of the catering contract rather than having a one-off investment cost.

OK, so I'm using my father's account to write this but man, I have so much to say about this company. Number 1, they gave me milkshake 17 days out of date. All the staff did is throw the rancid milkshake away and give me a new box. Number 2, some off the food is questionable. For example, their excuse for a pizza is bread with cheese and tomato on it. And they did an unhuman act of putting custard on Christmas cake. Lastly, the food is low quality. The meat is sometimes raw, the mash tastes of pure salt and the gravy is so thick its almost solid. I miss old school meals.

We have been doing business now with Mellors Catering for a number of years and have seen them go from strength to strength. They are increasingly adding new units to their already substantial cache of customers and we, in turn, see the benefits also as, what started off as supplying a few units, we now supply to around 40 around the northwest. We wish them all the best for their future growth and hope we will be a part of that journey with them!

I feel I get over charged for my child school meals. They seem to take the money even tho my child as not even reached school yet. So it's 7am in the morning and her school dinner has been taken for today. This is unacceptable. My child likes hot meals not cold and if I could make it myself and take it in school I would.

Great company to work with, man and boy since pre 1990. Hoping to continue into the distant future.
