There are stories from an earlier time when the Masons were operating a horse and cart to transport passengers from the mainline station into the village of Cheddington but our story begins in 1988. George and Pam Mason had been involved in transporting school children in the local area for some time now via a taxi service.

I was disappointed with Mason's coach hire service. I made 3 attempts via the web site to get a quote and was unsuccessful. I then called to see if I could get some help over the phone, and spoke to a gentleman called Mark. Who said he would look into my quote request and cut me off rather abruptly on the phone. He did however respond via email to enquire which date I needed the coaches for. To which I responded back. I again received no quote so I sent another email to Mark to ask had he had the opportunity to sort me out a quote. Which once again was unanswered.
