Recently visited as part of the Santa visit and really disappointed with the whole experience.
- greeted by a member of staff on the phone (although apparently that’s fine)
- only 3 high chairs for the entire cafe (apparently we should have pre-booked for a high chair even though they knew we had a 2 year old.. who’d have thought)
- no gap comfortable gap between tables
- cold food
- poor service all round, no cutlery, toddlers drink came out when we’d all finished
Despite complaining about this at the event, and via email, Andrew the owner rudely dismissed all of my points and told

It's my favourite place. I take one of my elderly clients for coffee and a cake and may I say always a delicious treat. I always come out with a new pot or plant. Never had problems with my new plants have always been top quality and the customer service is wonderful all staff are so helpful and friendly nothing is never too much trouble. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. 5 stars from me.

We have been dealing with this local family run business since their early days, we have watched them grow and go from strength to strength as a garden centre! They never fail to be knowledgeable, helpful and to go above and beyond with their customer satisfaction! A massive thank you to Andrew and his team!

Excellent cafe. We were desperately seeking z loo good coffee and lunch and happened upon this place. I had the best cheese & chutney sandwich I've ever had - soft bread, lots of grated cheese and a delicious moist chutney with a salad garnish and Kettle chip-style crisps. All sandwiches came with a choice of breads (including sourdough at £1 extra). Also a choice of milks (Oatly and almond milk) and all coffees available as decaff (hallelujah!). Therexwas a good selection of cakes which looked absolutely delicious but we weren't hungry enough to try them. Would definitely recommend.
