Gamrie Lodge Cottages
The luxury and comfort of exclusive boutique accommodation but with more space and privacy. A note of very great thanks and appreciation for providing us with such splendid accommodation last week. Everything was as near as perfect as you can get and all in such a beautiful setting.

We spent some while on the way back discussing on how it could be better and fundamentally it was the best accommodation we have had and that is said as fairly experienced travellers.Janet in desperation came up with the idea of a hair drier but only because she could not think of anything else.
Services
The Parish of Gamrie is situated upon the shore of the Moray Firth and extends from the Bridge of Banff to the Burn of Netherhill which separates it from the Parish of Aberdour in Aberdeenshire. Gamrie abounds in glens and precipices, its coast line consisting of a great wall of crags whose ledges are the home and resort of sea-birds of all kinds.
With Grade B Listing, Gamrie Lodge is a fine example of a four storey, Regency Buchan, former Manse dating circa.1828. Currently undergoing restoration by the present owners, the Lodge, with its distinctive projecting semi-circular stair tower, is set peacefully amidst lightly wooded grounds with separate walled garden, yet commands uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside of Aberdeenshire Scotland.
Maybe you're planning a romantic break, or an action-packed holiday with the kids, or simply taking some time out for a well earned bit of peace and quiet. Whatever your requirements, short break or long term stay at any time of the year, we hope either The Coach House or The Stables cottage at Gamrie Lodge are what you're looking for.
The Coach House is open plan, split-level and generously proportioned. This fully furnished and tastefully appointed cottage complete with local artwork provides a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Wood burning stove, twin sofas, flat screen TV, table lamps, DVD player and Bluetooth sound system. Wooden floor with rugs.
On payment of any deposits you are deemed to have fully accepted and agreed to the following Conditions. The prices detailed are from Saturday to Saturday, arriving after 4PM and departing before 11AM unless agreed otherwise. The Coach House cottage will accommodate a maximum of 2 occupants. The Stables cottage will accommodate a maximum of 4 occupants.

I think the highest praise I can give this place is that I could live here as it is so comfortable and well equipped. It is so peaceful but within striking distance of all the delights that this part of Scotland has. I will be so sorry to leave.

Beautiful setting, very spacious accommodation, exceptionally well equipped with generous touches, whisky and fudge left out, the only critique would be that a few areas are tired, sofas, and bedroom blind need replaced (white blind never a good idea in a bedroom for a Scottish sunrise at 3:30am and entire room with a child illuminated), however would I go back , in a heart beat, I judge a self catering on whether I could happy just walk in and live there, and this one absolutely!

Spent a lovely week here in Summer 2017. We stayed in the Owl cottage which was fantastic. Really well equipped, well kept with massive amounts of character. The grounds in the cottage and its surroundings are stunning. A real find and we were made to feel very welcome by the lovely owners. We'll be back ( with our two kids and two maltese dogs again )
