CJ Bookkeeping was set up by owner Clare Haynes in 2007. The business started as a sole trader and then over time, as we acquired more clients, we built a team, incorporated the business, and moved into offices. From this journey, we have first-hand experience of the journey that many of our clients have travelled.
Allowing for, among other things, financial reporting, cash flow forecasting and managing debtors/creditors. This means you will always have an up to date snapshot of where your business is financially, allowing business-critical decisions to be made. We also monitor for any potential "issues" that may arise in future, so you can concentrate on running your business knowing the day to day finances are being carefully monitored regularly by us.
Payroll errors, such as late or incorrect paychecks, are a sensitive topic that can cause tension between employees and their employer. Use our Payroll services to take the pain away. CJ Bookkeeping offer professional and flexible payroll services, administration and management service nationwide, using our own HMRC compliant software.
Help simplify the process right from taking on a subcontractor to ensure the relevant data is captured at the right time. CJ Bookkeeping has been excellent for our small charity. Clare and the team are always helpful and during Covid really went the extra mile to produce guides that helped people through. Also for those who are new to payroll (like me) Clare and the team are unstintingly helpful and I couldn't imagine running the organisation without them.

I contacted Clare recently to inquire about CJ Bookeeping taking on the managing of our payables, receivables and bank account. These have been managed manually in house. I was so impressed with her knowledge of Xero and her ability to explain how things would work. She had a set of easy questions that she asked me and based on my responses was able to produce a quote very quickly. She emailed me the quote and I was able to see exactly what services were included. And the quote was much less than I expected! I can’t wait to work with Clare.
