Great meat for BBQ etc. Always visit when in area.

The sausage rolls are the best I've ever had it's now our family tradition to get our sausage roll and cake to eat on or favourite bench over looking the castle.

Poor Customer experience at their sandwich shop next door. Advertised mouthwatering sandwiches so decided to queue. The poor lady in front of us waited so long, she gave up & walked away. One customer came out, myself & my wife walked in. The lady who was serving glanced at us without a word & walked into the kitchen. A young lady came out of the kitchen, glanced at us & went back into the kitchen.
Finally she came back out to find us still waiting....she apologised as thought we were being served....by whom I don't know, but she said the other lady had finished her shift.
We gave our order,

Scotch (lamb) pies are the best I've ever tasted, we always get some when we're on holiday in Northumberland. Great view of the castle just around the corner too!

Home of the Famous Bamburgh Banger. ( sausage) Have shopped here many times. A good old fashioned butcher, the type that is becoming increasingly harder to find. Take a look at the picture and you can see how popular this place is. I would recommend you give it a try.
