Over the years Rachel has developed a commitment to looking after her patients and making sure they are not only treated with the utmost care, but also have received up to date information on their eye conditions.She wanted to work as part of the community delivering dry eye clinics, low vision advice, contact lens fitting and thorough well delivered eye examinations.

Services
At South Molton Eyecare we will carefully question you about your eyes, health and specific visual needs. Our eye examinations are thorough and last approximately 40 minutes. Our Optometrist will recommend any additional tests should they be required. For some patients the NHS provide a routine eye examination once every two years, unless you have been advised by an Optometrist to have one more frequently or you are having visual symptoms.

This is the best experience I have ever had at any healthcare consultation. Getting my eye test and choosing glasses was enjoyable and a pleasure thanks to the lovely Rachel. She was so thorough and helpful. It’s definitely worth going just to learn more and see how brilliant the practice is. I wish all consultations were like this!!

I booked an appointment for me, my wife and two kids aged 8 and 5 and if I am honest was completely dreading taking both kids together!!!!!
Rachel and her team were absolutely amazing and soon had both kids enjoying their eye test. Rachel made it fun were she could, and managed to keep them focussed and entertained throughout.
My eye test was the best I've ever had and previously I have struggled with opticians either going too fast were I felt I was rushed to make a decision, or not understanding what was going on. Rachel explained all of what she was doing and gave me lots of time to decide
