The Gouldings moved to Dalpatrick in 1897 when Joe Goulding grew soft fruit to supply the markets. The soft fruits continued until the 1960s when we started to grow lettuce, leeks, parsley, spring onions and a wide range of vegetables to supply Glasgow's Fruit Market. In 1992 we took a very large step in deciding to sell bedding plants direct to the public.
In 1997 due to cheap foreign imports of vegetables, we were forced to devote all our time to growing bedding plants which have proven to be a great success. Over the years, we have gradually developed the garden centre into what it is now, a superb facility that offers a huge range of indoor and outdoor plants, furniture and homewares.

Visited 8th Dec 21 with an under 2 year old.
The Wonderland experience was just magnificent.
Santa was lovely and very patient taking time with the wee ones.
The choice of toys you
pick from was extremely vast.
The kiddie funfare was also a great touch, as was the welcome cuppa for the adults.

Went for lunch with my mother. Stew with potatoes not too much veg. It was a mountain of food. Stew too salty and veg soggy. I ordered breast of chicken salad.
Plate over full could hardly cut any and breast looked a bit pink had to leave both.
Got a feeling they think more is better and staff who served not friendly. Gone down hill
